Our client, the North American Subsidiary of a European OEM, was encountering significant resistance in obtaining approval for several critical eBusiness/IT initiatives. Furthermore, they were continuously struggling to successfully execute upon their eBusiness and IT project charters.
Morningstar created a structured “Define” process which included an eBusiness Investment Validation Framework and a cross-enterprise workshop based approach to gathering and validating business and technical requirements. The “Define” process is often the critical missing piece for validating the business case for IT investments as well as documenting the core requirements which are critical to successful design and development.
